Prussian hussar standard bearer HR6 "Fleischhacker"

Prussia´s Cavalry gets a new standard bearer for the regiment No 6, called the "Fleischhacker" and "Kapuziner" because of their brown dresses. This is a Matthias-Manske-figure in 40mm. I placed the model in a fictive background (built in the computer) and added some battle´s dust..

Prussia: Regiment Nr 49 Von Diericke

Honestly said, I am not really happy with the painting quality of this 3year old regiment - it was this winter just a renovation of the figures, which are from NMZ and Prince August. The heavy wargaming the past years and the oversea transportations were too much for them and they suffered. I did some cosmetical corrections and added the basements and new flags. Maybe, I´m no more interested in the figure quality of NMZ and PA, since I have the high-levelled figures from Manske and Sash+Saber.
But Prussia has to increase its infantry power till this summer, when the next battle will take place in Switzerland.
The terrain will be built completely new and some artillery trains and furniture are planned.
We will have an equal army power between France (6 Inf.Reg., 4 Cav.Reg.),  Russia (6 Inf.Reg., 5 Cav.Reg.) and now Prussia with 6 Inf.Reg. and 4 Cav.Reg.
Only Saxony is still underpowered, but maybe for 2012 the Kurfürst  will reorganize his army....

Saxon Cuirassier Regiment "Königlicher Prinz"

Saxony´s Cuirassiers are now completed by the two Matthias-Manske-figures, the colonel and the trumpeter. The brave riders are old figures of the prince august serie and not as threedimensional as the Manske figures. The regiment is now ready for the summer campaign. Our cavalry regiments have 14 figures.

Prussia: Regiment Nr. 18 Prinz von Preussen

After a hard week´s work of figure painting I finished the prussian S&S-Regiment No18 "Prinz von Preussen" with their particular dress colours. I had to finish it this week because it will be sent next week to Scheckinator in Maine. So, Prussia, ready for the war? This regiment will be followed by two others, so in summer,  Prussia will have the same power as Russia and France.
