Voilà les Suisses en service francais!

Today, the Swiss Regiments are ready for coming into French service . The picture above shows the French generals (Manske Zinnfiguren) with tambour and standards (Irregular Miniatures), the flags with the emblem of the Gardes Suisses. The Swiss will get higher score in our war-games dued to their braveness in Rossbach and elsewhere. So, it´s good to have 2 of them: The Suisse Castella and the Suisse Lochmann (Zurich region); both regiments are Sash&Saber miniatures.

    1. Thank you so much, Tony! I enjoy your blog using sometimes the same scale of figures like me - the 40mm is a particular range.

    1. Dear Bill, the flag is self-done - I used a template of he fabulous Arnaud Bunel with his site drapeaux.org and modified it in the computer.
      That´s all.

an excellent blog, with an excellent collection in an excellent scale (I collect 40mm Napoleonic's myself). Your terrain is wonderful, really enjoy the large summer battles. A lot of the AMG forum are into this period, but even a Napoleonic buff appreciates the effort you have gone to, thanks for sharing, long may you continue.
