Prussian hussar standard bearer HR6 "Fleischhacker"

Prussia´s Cavalry gets a new standard bearer for the regiment No 6, called the "Fleischhacker" and "Kapuziner" because of their brown dresses. This is a Matthias-Manske-figure in 40mm. I placed the model in a fictive background (built in the computer) and added some battle´s dust..

  2. I just did a whole article about going smaller and smaller from Airfix to 15mm 18C to 10mm ACW to 6 (8) to 6 (5-6) and ultimately to 2mm, which could be as easily Napoleonic as 18C. But I have also been looking at the Prinz August probably first and the Berliner Zinnfiguren probably second. I am very slow to strike, when it comes to shelling out cash, with roots in Mekelnborg, and 2 years in Schwabenland! The article is called A Light For The Blind, over on http://tabakskollegiummekelnborg.blogspot.com

The title of these remind me of the song Holzhacker Tanz, an old favorite.
