Prussia´s Cavalry gets a new standard bearer for the regiment No 6, called the "Fleischhacker" and "Kapuziner" because of their brown dresses. This is a Matthias-Manske-figure in 40mm. I placed the model in a fictive background (built in the computer) and added some battle´s dust.. |
Field pics came out awesomely.
ReplyDeleteThank you, mekelnborg! What is your figure collectioning doing? Did you already decide sthg? 40mm or 30mm? Would be interesting to hear news about you!
ReplyDeleteI just did a whole article about going smaller and smaller from Airfix to 15mm 18C to 10mm ACW to 6 (8) to 6 (5-6) and ultimately to 2mm, which could be as easily Napoleonic as 18C. But I have also been looking at the Prinz August probably first and the Berliner Zinnfiguren probably second. I am very slow to strike, when it comes to shelling out cash, with roots in Mekelnborg, and 2 years in Schwabenland! The article is called A Light For The Blind, over on http://tabakskollegiummekelnborg.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThe title of these remind me of the song Holzhacker Tanz, an old favorite.
